Bill Murphy

Bill Murphy is a lawyer and lives in County Cork, Ireland and began writing poems, short stories and one-act plays while at college which were published in various magazines and anthologies. He has won many prizes in the past for writing including the Bank of Ireland prize for full length stageplay script, the BBC's Tony Doyle Prize, PAWS Grand Prix, Bronze prize Houston Worldfest and the WH Smith fresh talent promotion.

His two previous novels 'Tin Kickers' and 'Fractions of Zero' were published by Hodder & Stoughton and both feature FBI agent Nancy Kronziac.

Commissioned many times by BBC Radio his work has been broadcast on Radio 4 and Radio 7 over the past decade.

As a screenwriter he has written several scripts with development funding from various film boards and optioned work to film companies. He wrote, directed and co-produced a short film which was shown in film festivals throughout Europe and broadcast on Irish national television.

His latest novel 'Final Sacrament' sees the character Nancy Kronziac return as a ritual killer spreads a reign of terror throughout California.
