Hi folks! Welcome to my writing world -- All of my work is grounded in reality with many of my life experiences included as fiction. Eclectic genre is how one reader describes my work.

All eight novels and six screenplays are posted to this site. The latest being MURDER IN PANAMA, an action adventure novel with Panama as its backdrop. HALF-BREED, is a period western set in 1886 -- Arizona Territory. ExPat, is a romantic caper novel with Mexico as its backdrop. BOOMER is a period western, written for a youth audience. CRYSTAL COWBOY is a contemporary romantic comedy set in the world of profession rodeo. ALASKA BE DAMNED! is a romantic drama. THE LAST FRUIT STAND ON GUAM is a bawdy romantic comedy that features a great deal of dark humor. PARTNERS, is a contemporary action adventure western set in southern Arizona. $HARE THE WEALTH is a nonfiction business book. It reveals the secret weapon of a turn-around specialist. The cover is a beach in Puerto Armuelles, Panama.

The covers on BOOMER, TRUST ME, TRILOGY, CRYSTAL COWBOY and PARTNERS are photos of actual paintings by award winning, Tucson Artist, Bill Moomey. The photo on Alaska be Damned was taken by my father, Wayne W. Hatting in 1956; a remote beach on the Pacific coast of Panama. The Photo on The last Fruit Stand on Guam was taken from Apra Heights on Guam also by my father. The photo on the cover of ExPat is a lonesome beach at Zancudo, Costa Rica, taken by yours truly. The Photo on Panama Screenplays is a beach near the center of Puerto Armulles, Panama; again by me just last year. Half Breed is from the archives of the AZ historical society. The photo on cover of MURDER IN PANAMA was taken by my father, Wayne Hatting, in 1955.

I'm a fiction writer/storyteller. The photos of me (above) depict the two aspects of my profession. At my desk in Panama, writing - editing a thousand pages a day, and a shot of me on the book tour, selling and signing books. I switched from writing novels to screenplays because a script only needs to be sold once. The book tour is not to my liking so I quit the novels. I have written six screenplays. All six are for sale on this site. The Kindle and Pubit e-book publishing, changes the paradigm of how we authors offer our work. Now, I'm back to writing novels - my first love. Look for one more novel to be released this year (2011).
