Jean Martino

My name is Jean Martino. I was born in South Australia, one of seven children, and from an early age had a hunger to travel and see what was on the other side of the world. I left Australia in 1957, traveled to Canada, then settled in California. Twenty seven years later I moved back to Australia where I was blessed to be able to get to know my large biological family there and to watch many of my nieces and nephews grow into adulthood. But destiny decided I was not to spend the rest of my life in Australia and after 21 years there, soon after my 70th birthday, I was on a plane heading back to California and marriage to a man I had met and fallen in love with 38 years earlier.

During my life I have traveled extensively around the world and lived in many places, including Toronto, Canada, Newport Beach, Palm Springs, Las Vegas, Orange County, San Francisco, and of course my home state of South Australia.
