Publisher's green cloth hardcovers in pictorial dust-jacket. Editor's inscription to the endpaper: "Renee Hellman - Christmas 1961", with recipient's name 'Dawn Field' above. A fine copy of the book in a very good jacket with some small nicks tears and rubs, one larger tear to rear. A selection of favourite recipes from famous people, with a foreword by A. Dickson Wright. Includes Ian Fleming on scrambled eggs, plus contributions from his friends including Noel Coward, Lady Diana Cooper, Wolf Mankowitz and Paul Gallico. A scarce book. Fleming's piece, published as 'Scrambled Eggs' had the working title 'Scrambled Eggs James Bond'. Within his fictional works Fleming provided two recipes; this one for scrambled eggs (007 In New York, 1964) and a recipe for fudge (Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, 1964). This copy comes from the comprehensive bibliographical archive assembled by Jon Gilbert (pencilled ownership within).
