Adam Colton

Born in 1975, Adam Colton is a writer of humorous travelogues and psychological stories from Kent, UK. His first paperback 'England and Wales in a Flash' documented an attempt to visit every lighthouse on the mainland undertaken with his father, Roger Colton, who published and contributed to the book. It has a sequel taking in Southern Scotland and Adam has penned two more UK travelogues which he describes as a celebration of home-counties hiking and cycling respectively. '2021: A Musical Odyssey' unites his passion for music with 'tongue in cheek' humour as he reviews music albums he has bought over the last thirty years.

Beginning in 2020, Adam released a series of psychological novels:

'Codename: Narcissus' is his first foray into novel writing - a gripping psychodrama about narcissism and gaslighting.

'The Dream Machine (Labyrinth of Dreams) delves into sci fi, dealing with technology that can record and play back dreams.

'The Nightshade Project' combines sci-fi, horror, comedy, surrealism and teenage drama as three teenagers receive silicon chip brain implants courtesy of the government.

'Digital Psychosis' deals with impostor syndrome and dissociation as an unravelling mystery, with humour, real ales and cream cakes.

Adam is also a writer of topical songs, performing as one half of the duo Adam Colton & Teresa Colton. Their song 'Fat Cats with a Death-Wish on the M25' received regular airplay on BBC radio's Dave Cash Show. The acoustic duo's lyrics cover a wide range of topics and they have a number of download albums available.
