"Poltegeists" was a result of his interest in psychic research while he was a research fellow at Trinity College at Cambridge. His research included interviews of witnesses of a poltergeist case in Sauchie. In 1964, the book received the Parapsychology Foundation's Best Book Of The Year award.…
