Steven Stralser

Steven Stralser Ph.D. is Emeritus Professor of Entrepreneurship at #1 Ranked Thunderbird School of Global Management where he taught in the MBA program and Executive MBA program.

In addition to academic credentials, Dr. Stralser been an entrepreneur and has held high-level marketing and consulting positions in business, industry and non-profit organizations. He is a member of the Board of the Salt River Devco, (www.saltriverdevco.com) the real estate development arm of the Salt River Pima Maricopa Indian Community, involved in commercial real estate development along the SR101 in the easterly portion of the Phoenix Metropolitan area. Dr. Stralser also serves as a board member for Flexxcoach, (www.flexxcoach.com) an e-learning company focused on sports coaching education and player development and is also on the board of the Whispering Hope Ranch Foundation (www.whisperinghoperanch.org) that provides an outdoor camping experiences for disabled children and young adults.

During Fall 1999, he was a Fulbright Senior Scholar, teaching marketing management in the MBA program at The Budapest University of Economic Sciences and Entrepreneurship at The University of Miskolc.

Dr. Stralser is the founder of The Center for Professional Development, internationally recognized for its MBA in a DAY training and executive education programs targeted to professionals, e.g., physicians, attorneys, architects, dentists, and non-profit executives who are well trained in their professions, but who often face challenges with the “business” issues facing their practices and organizations.

Dr. Stralser’s book MBA in a DAY: What you would learn at top-tier business schools—if only you had the time has been translated into seven languages.

He received a Ph.D. from The University of Michigan where he taught Marketing and Marketing Strategy, has a BS in Marketing from The University of Arizona and an MBA from Arizona State University.
