Dennis Miner

Dennis Miner currently resides in a log house in the redwoods in Northern California. His book, "Not Your Fathers War: In the Service of The Cold War" is in the U.S. Army Heritage and Education Center, Army War College and Carlisle Barracks.

The book is a good book for anyone who is considering joining the military service, especially the Army. It is based on a diary, letters sent home that my mother saved and a photo scrapbook while stationed in Amberg, West Germany during 1971 - 1974. It makes a timely point for military preparedness in the face of a new emerging Cold War.
