Inscription reads For Hank and Helen --with love, Sherwin. Dr. Sherwin Kaufman brought life into the world as an obstetrician/gynecologist and infertility specialist and brightened those around him with his warmth, wit, compassion and love. His stories and humor sweetened our lives and continued the tradition of his grandfather, Sholom Aleichem. This is the first book, for the general public, to concern itself with the sexual repercussions of medical, emotional, and social problems. In clear question-and-answer style, it explores the specific effect on sex of heart attacks, pregnancy, contraceptives, obesity, depression, aging, infidelity, career pressures, divorce, venereal disease, skin and digestive disorders, orthopedic problems, and just about any other illness or disruption situation. In a warm and compassionate tone, Dr. Kaufman provides responses to questions that are too often asked because of embarrassment and inhibition, or go unanswered due to the hurried, impersonal nature of some many doctor=patient relationships. This is a book designed to help its readers enhance pleasure and minimize the dangers of 'sexual sabotage.". Sidney J. Gluck (author photograph) (illustrator).…
