Illustrated with numerous charming black and white drawings by Frederick T. Chapman.Green cloth decorated in white and with white letters and with a vignette in white on the front cover of a sailing boat. Very minor wear to extremities with nothing rubbed through, spine darkened, top of spine just beginning to fray, else very good to near fine with no internal markings. No dust jacket. Leon Ware is also the author of CRAZY DOG. This is a book about sailing written for young adult readers. I have not been able to find out any biographical information about Leon Ware. Frederick Trench Chapman (1887-1983) was an illustrator whose papers are at the University of Minnesota, including two children's books. Signed by Author(s).
