Erstausgabe
pamphlet. Zustand: near fine. First. Introduction by Shirley Jolls. Illustrated with two photographs (one double-page). 19 pages. Slim 8vo, staple-bound green printed pamphlet. New York: American Servicemen's Union, 1969. First edition with 10 cent price on cover. A bit toned at spine edges, still a near fine copy of this uncommon item. Interview conducted by Andrew Stapp of the American Servicemen's Union with George Daniels & William Harvey, two black Marines who were court-martialed because of their opposition to the Vietnam War. They discuss the general attitude of black soldiers, the prevalent racism in the armed services and their own "kangaroo court-martial." Following the interview is the eight-point program of the American Servicemen's Union, which was founded by Stapp.
