Hardcover. Zustand: Fair. See photos for condition details. Hardcover, red cloth boards, blind stamped on front and rear with ornate gilt to spine. Exterior is heavily worn with corners rounded. Cloth is soiled and spine is chipping along top edge and left lower hinge area. Internal binding appears acceptable the book has the fe…el of something that was well read. Pages are toned due to age spotting boards/foxing is present throughout with some pages being severe. Some pages are quite darkened due to the publisher using different types of paper. As they well-worn book with heavy spotting but is still intact and very much readable. This is the second printing with the title first published in the year 1856.
