Presumed first edition. 1854. 14pp. The book is bound in black half leather over brown cloth covered boards with five thin raised bands on the spine and gold titling reading "Pamphlets - II." The case of the book is in very good condition with shelf wear and some soiling to the boards and rubbing to the leather on the corner tips and spine ends. The contents are tight and clean apart from a few light marks and some soiling on the title-page to the History of Holyrood at the start of the book. There is some soiling and light foxing to the endpapers but no inscription.
