Amy Luwis

Amy Luwis is an author/illustrator and an animal activist. She is the author of the dog safety book, For Dog's Sake! and the book series, Yoga to the Rescue.

Amy's deep love and respect for animals led her to co-found the nonprofit, Adopt-a-Pet.com which has turned into a powerful advocate for animals in need and tirelessly works on behalf of shelter animals.

Amy has been featured in publications including: The Washington Post, The Daily Mail, BarkPost, Prevention, and iYogaLife.
