Hugo Walter

Hugo Walter was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA and grew up in Princeton, New Jersey, USA. Dr. Walter has a B.A. from Princeton University (1981), a Ph.D. in Literature from Yale University (1986), an M.A. in Humanities from Old Dominion University, and a Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Humanities from Drew University. Dr. Walter teaches Literature courses in the Division of Continuing Studies at Rutgers University. Hugo Walter's poems have been published in several volumes and in numerous international anthologies. Dr. Walter has also published several scholarly books, including "Magnificent Houses in Twentieth Century European Literature" (Peter Lang, 2012) and "Sanctuaries in Washington Irving's 'The Sketch Book'" (Peter Lang, 2014). Dr. Walter's most recent publication is "Saving Endangered Heirs and Estates" (Peter Lang, 2020). This book discusses important characters in 20th century European literature who heroically try to save endangered heirs and estates by searching carefully and devotedly for the truth in various situations.
