Herman H. White

Herman H White is an author, writer, actor and a retired United States Military and Department of Defense Firefighter.

Herman H White, born 1955, in a two room cabin that his parents built on the bank of the Cumberland River in Whitley County Kentucky. Growing up, Herman hiked dirt roads to share his fictional stories with neighbors, who invited him back for another tall tale. Herman H White attended Liberty Elementary school. Herman's teachers often asked him to stand up in front of the class and tell fiction stories to entertain fellow students. Burial on Water Box Mountain and Valley of the Flames are two of Herman's legendary stories.

Herman H white retired in 2005. He served as a Military and Department of Defense Firefighter, for the United States Government. During Herman's thirty career, he wrote lesson and training plans, incident reports, safety and fire guides for the Government.

Herman studied how to write books for young adults and children at, The Institute of Children's Literature, West Redding, CT.

Herman H White attended University of Kentucky, earned associates degree, Business Administration. Herman founded and worked as CEO for, Sparky Fire Safety Incorporated.

Herman H White taught as substitute teacher in Christian county Kentucky. He taught Sunday school for the 1st and 2nd graders at Olivet Baptist Church, Christian county KY. Herman served as cub master for the Boy Scouts of America

Since retirement Herman H White has traveled with mission teams to Brazil, China, Russia and Utah. Herman H lives in Kentucky, attends Red Bird Baptist Church. He is financial officer and teaches adult Sunday school.

Herman H White performed as actor, entertained soldiers at, The Soldiers Theater, Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Herman performed as back ground detective in a movie titled, Deadline. Herman is working on a 1930, noir movie in Nashville, TN. Herman H White is writing short stories and writing a book about satin.
