Joachim Kath

Joachim Kath was born 1941 in the beautiful seaside resort of Kolberg on the Baltic Sea, which was completely destroyed during the Second World War and now belongs to Poland. He and his family escaped the Inferno in the last train full of wounded soldiers from the nearby front. It was strictly forbidden to ride for civilians, but that was lost in the general chaos. This childhood experience has made him the opponent of all violence.

He studied communication sciences and design in Berlin and Marketing in Antioch/Ohio. After that he has attended in the 60s the famous Y&R Copy Class on Madison Avenue in New York. That was the time when playing the award-winning TV-series Mad Men and the Beatles at Shea-Stadium occured. He has worked as copywriter and later as creative director for international advertising agencies and developed numerous campaigns and brands. In 1975 he founded his own agency in Munich; on a special area was actually a world leader.

In addition to his day job as a strategy consultant, he became a professor at an academy and began a dozen books to write, which were published in five prestigious book publishers.

Since 2006 Joachim Kath is only active as a science journalist and author. "Coolness, Courage, Curiosity" is his first book in English and is a plea for the value of personal knowledge for everyone. Correct decisions and findings are always based on an interaction of knowledge and experience. This important topic the author tries to communicate in all his books. "ALPHA EGOS" is his first and highly current, time-critical novel, for an international edition is planned in the English language.

The author lives in Munich and Garmisch-Partenkirchen, with a view to Germany's highest mountain. The former athlete still plays tennis tournaments and a part of his artistic work as a photographer and painter to see on his website artfriends.com
