Diana Ferraro

Diana Ferraro is a bilingual Argentine writer. Born in Buenos Aires in 1944, she first worked as an advertising film producer and director and later as journalist. She began publishing her novels, short stories, and political essays in Spanish in 1983. From 1999 to 2006, she spent many months of each year in Richmond, Virginia. She got a BA in English in 2008 at Ellis College of the New York Institute of Technology. She is the author of a collection of short stories, "The Map of Solitude," and a novel, "The French Lesson," both written in English. Her stories have appeared in several literary magazines in the United States. She lives in Buenos Aires.
