Encuadernación de tapa blanda. Zustand: Muy bien. In-8. #1 1993 - #20 2010. (Complete set). Wrappers. Daniel Chirom (Buenos Aires, 1955-2008) was a true defender of poetry, because he knew that it should not be defended, and a true nexus between generations in 1980 he made the Anthology of New Argentine Poetry because he knew that poetry does not it is more than just one. Daniel Chirom was an exception to that idea, sometimes true, that artistic talent rubs shoulders with evil or bitterness: he was an excellent person - sensitive, generous to the point of greatness and very funny in his sober elegance - and that is what made him grow up as a poet. He published Chronicle of Robledo Puch, Los Atlantes, Candelabros, La Diáspora, El thread de oro, The eye of the days and Manjar del exilio, a delicious oxymoron that accompanied all his work and made reference to the apple pie that his Russian Baba brought him for dessert at the hospital where a child Daniel spent his days, surrounded by white, with a stuffed animal in his arms. And he was also a great poet and that made him grow as a person. The intention of El Jabalí is to spread American letters and Argentine poetry in a simple, open way, without prioritizing theory over text. Its director maintains that there is a lack of historical awareness in Argentina about its cultural and poetic treasure and with this magazine they seek to rescue the forgotten poets of the past and publish their works together with those of the new currents. Make them known to people but without any intention . The name of the magazine is designed so that it is not identified with anything in particular, If we put Letters, Illuminations or whatever, people could think that we were following this or that current. We didn't want to belong to any of them. We are simply guided by the taste for good literature and good poetry. Later we discovered that the image of the wild boar was in the Altamira Caves and that it was a mythological symbol . Issue 12 of this illustrated poetry magazine includes an anthology of Jorge Zunino presented by Chirom, works by the beatnik eco-poet Gary Snyder and the Israeli Naim Araidi. Also, Juan R. Wilcock's clever essay on the technical history of a poem. Under the title "Poetas hoy", works by the Grupo Vida Natural, by César Bandin Ron, Leopoldo Castilla, Adriana Ambrosioni, Alejandro Archain and Juan García Gayo, as well as a tribute to Arthur Rimbaud by B. Fontdane, E. Molina and E. Azcuy. Number 13 recalls the poem Tumulto by José Portogalo, banned in 1935 after winning the Municipal Prize of that year and never reissued since then. The text is completed with original drawings by Demetrio Urruchúa for the 1935 edition, as well as notes on Tumult written by Pablo Ananía, Raúl González Tuñón, Ulises Petit de Murat and César Tiempo. This issue also brings little-known texts by Oscar Wilde and Juan Filloy, in addition to the favorite poems of Héctor Yánover and Antonio Requeni and Vietnamese and Brazilian poetry, along with writings by Oliverio Girondo and José Lezama Lima. El jabalí is a magazine dedicated to poetry that has among its collaborators Pablo Narral, Jorge Boccanera, Antonio Requeni, Luisa Futoransky, Delia Pasini and Nancy Morejón, among others. B1.
