Dwight Holing is the award-winning author of twenty books, including two popular mystery series: the bestselling Nick Drake Novels and the Jack McCoul Capers. He is a member of Mystery Writers of America, Western Writers of America and Sisters in Crime.

His Silver Falchion Award-winning Nick Drake mystery series is noted for its deft portrayal of richly developed characters, vivid descriptions of settings, multiple storylines and unrelenting pace. Reviewers laud the philosophical insights that bring added depth to the stories and principal characters and the incorporation of indigenous cultural history.
