B.P. Thompson

I’m B.P. Thompson, born in DeRidder, Louisiana USA in 1989 and raised in Pollock, Louisiana. I’m now living in Colorado Springs, Colorado on Fort Carson, where life as a military spouse lets me travel, meet new people, and discover fresh stories everywhere I go.

I mainly write nonfiction, but I love exploring all kinds of topics and am opening myself up to writing romance, fantasy, thrillers, and poetry. My work often reflects my faith journey—from being raised Pentecostal to becoming Catholic—as well as the realities of excitement, death, fear, and happiness that shape all of us. I wrote Where Is God At When I’m Lost, available on Amazon, along with several other ebooks.

When I’m not writing, you can find me out on a nature walk, beach scavenging, rollerblading, enjoying a good buffet, or experimenting with planting and herbal remedies—from salves to lotions with natural health benefits. I’ve always loved stormy weather and once dreamed of being a storm chaser, and my ADHD keeps me constantly moving, while my little bit of OCD likes everything to match or be just right.

I share my life with my loving husband of six years, our two cats, Forrest and Ella, and a heart that’s always looking to connect—with readers and with people in person. Life is a journey of excitement, death, fear, and happiness, and through my books, I invite you to share that journey with me.
