Organized by proper name as well as brush name ('ho') and studio name ('tangho'), the (often multiple) seals of approximately 1,100 artists are recorded; where biographical details are known, these are also summarized. Seals are mostly depicted in cinnabar red, as they would be found on the original works of art. While such material is widely available for the identification of Chinese painters, this seems to be one of very few such resources for the study of Korean artists.
