As CEO and CTO of one of Europe´s largest manufacturers of electronic and electromechanical components, Alexander identifies, designs and launches electronic components for various markets and applications, including pricing, quality control and marketing.

He drives innovation, from design idea to realization, by having implemented INNOVATIO! as an internal tool for collecting and scoring ideas.

Furthermore he sucessfully implemented tools like Design-Thinking, Agile Working in Hardware Design as well as Stage-Gate-Process for more faster and customer focused offerings of parts and software tools. In his responsibility is the global startegy for production lines and raw material management, as well as a global quality system.

Future topics like e-Mobility / Formula-e, Additive Manufacturing (3D Printing) or Horticulture Lighting/ Vertical Farming get the special interest and support from Alexander.

One big thing is also: Working together with StartUp´s.He knows by his own carreer, what means to fail! His passion for hardware design and the company culture are a good starting point to support start-ups, regardless how big the idea is. Inventing a solution is in his DNA.

As the author of several books, he is well recognized to explain complex things in an easy and practical approach. He supports as a sought-after key note speaker and lecturer many conferences like DLD, Urban Tech Summit, Gamechanger Festival and technical seminars at various conferences around the globe.

He is member of the board of different hardware start-up companies in different markets and locations and helping them to make it´s way into industrial production.
