I am the co-author, with Stuart Laycock, of America Invades. I am an American who lives in London. I have had a lifelong passion for military history. I received a BA in Philosophy from UC Berkeley.

In 2012 I read Laycock's All the Countries We've Invaded...and the few we never got round to. I enjoyed his book and reviewed it on my blog (http://www.americanconservativeinlondon). We met and became friends. According to Stu's book, nearly 90% of all the countries in the world have been invaded by Britain at some point in history.

As an American I was curious to see how America would compare to Britain in this respect. We don't have as much history but we have been catching up in the invasion category so to speak.

Our book, America Invades: How We've Invaded or been Military Involved with Almost Every Country on Earth is an answer to that question.

A UK version of America Invades was published by Amberley Press in October 2015 under the title All the Countries the Americans ever Invaded.
