D.I. Jolly

Multi-award-winning author D I Jolly confessed that he wanted to be an author since the age of seven, thanks to a video game called Gabriel Knight.

But it wasn't until he was 23 that he would finish his first novel, the noir style detective novel 'A Guy, A Girl and A Voodoo Monkey Hand'.

Since then, he's moved away from humour and tends to tackle more serious topics under the guise of more pop-culture focused themes and genres.

His next publication 'Counting Sheep and Other Stories' is a novel length sci-fi story which looks at capitalism and consumerism.

The 'Mostly Human' series uses lycanthropy to discuss mental health, specifically the positive and negative effects bipolar disorder can have on a family.

And his award-winning novel Bait, takes the ever-popular format of a shifter-romance novel to discuss the importance of consent. Bait won Top Preforming Paranormal Romance from Inkitt, and was selected by their best seller predicting algorithm for publication.

Along side his novels D I Jolly founded and hosts a short story event in Berlin Germany, and so far, has two short story anthologies published, titled 'Berlin Poetry Club'.
