Rebecca cavender

Becky Cavender is an American freelance writer, mom, wife, artist, and expatriate currently living in Myanmar (Burma). She has lived in five countries and on four continents, but calls the Pacific Northwest (USA) home. Her award winning blog, Becky in Burma, provides valuable information to expats moving to Myanmar. She is the editor for What's on Yangon, a community-based events website in Myanmar, and has written for the Myanmar Times.

In her free time, Becky dabbles in mixed-media art and was even lucky enough to have her work showcased in an exhibition.

Becky is also a poet and enjoys writing children's picture books. When she's not working on her historical novel, you can find her at any of the best coffee spots in Yangon.
