Maria Blanco

María Blanco is a Spanish Neurolanguage Coach© and Teacher Trainer. She coaches students and trains foreign language teachers on brain-friendly language learning principles and strategies. She also works as a Senior Lecturer in Spanish at the University of Westminster and a Teacher Trainer at the Instituto Cervantes London.

Her coaching and training methods are the result of more than 20 years of experience teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language, her passion to empower students to become better and happier independent language learners, and extensive professional training . Her approach incorporates research form her own classroom action research, and the fields of applied linguistics, cognitive psychology and educational neuroscience.

María holds an MA Modern Languages in Education (UCL IOE, London), and a BA (Hons) in Education (Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca, Spain). She is a certified EUROLTA Teacher Trainer, IH Spanish Language Teacher and Online Tutor, and Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. She is also a Spanish Neurolanguage Coach® certified by Efficient Language Coaching and accredited by the International Coaching Federation.
