Mackenzie William Moulton Born on 21st June 1947 in Exeter, Devon, UK. The eldest son of a Scottish mother and English father. He left school at 15 with no qualifications and got a job as a trainee quantity surveyor. At 19 he decided to join the Metropolitan Police in London and served as a beat bobby, Traffic Division and Thames Division, he was married when he was 20 to Emma and from that maraige had two daughters Lis and Natasha, in 1983 he married his second wife Kay. They lived on a boat for 5 years before buying an apartment in Wapping where Mackenzie became known as 'The Wapping Artist.' His last 13 years of his 30 year police service being in the Diving Unit. In 1996 he went to live in Xabia, Spain where he worked as an art teacher and musician. In 2006 he returned to the UK and started writing books that related to his exciting life in the Police Diving Unit, both true and fictional, along with children's fictional stories for his grandchildren. He is currently writing a book called 'Sugar Spice and All Things Nice. It is all about a man's love for women and his personal experiences through his life, drawn from many of Mac's personal experiences in the 30 years he spent in the Metropolitan Police, London, UK. Sugar Spice & All Things Nice 2 is now available. Mackenzie has now writing his Autobiography at the request of his eldest Grandson and a very good friend in the house of Lords. In addition another Poetry book accompanied with illustrations of his paintings. This particular book, Poems about Wapping, was written with poems from Author and poet Christine Ashby, who as a child, lived in Wapping in the 1960s. Mackenzie now lives in Brixham Devon, with his wife Kay, where he is still writing, and after a problem with his eyesight has started painting again.
