Dan Raburn

Dan Raburn lives in the Appalachian foothills of north Alabama and has been an English teacher and vocational training specialist to support his writing habit. His first love was the western story, which he began writing at the age of ten. He published his first story at seventeen in Far West Magazine, and his classic western novel Blood Bounty was published by Zebra Books in 1985. Early success whetted a lifelong passion for storytelling, and he now writes genre-bending books he hopes will inspire as well as entertain. His deep interest in the sufferings of “natural” man in an industrial and global society generates stories with literary underpinnings that illustrate the struggles of modern Percival trying to find his way. His new thrillers define the mixed genre work he hopes will lead readers down “the road not taken” and whet appetites for stories not typically found in traditional publishing.
