A man called Mr. Jack Adams comes across a quest after having an old oak table delivered to his junk shop. The clues are revealed in messages carved into the surface of the table, which after being copied down magically disappear. He later meets a dwarf called Trobate, who tells him that he, his granddaughter Abigail and her best friend Ethan have to leave their world to enter his world Xenitha. There they must help Trobate, with the aid of Driskoll, Erskine and Finbarr, the forest dwellers. Also a potion master called Waylen, an ignitia bird called Ezra, a gillyweasel called Zale, the kibblekytes Kara and Kina, and Sir Tobias Goodricke and his unicorn Celeste. They have to travel afar meeting new friends and battling with the yarkas and the bazelfangs to find the enchanted gown that belonged to the goddess Ophelia, who once rules Xenitha. They are up against Morgana an evil sorceress who put a curse on the goddess Ophelia, turning her to stone, only the enchanted gown can save her. But Morgana will stop at nothing to get her hands on the gown, as she believes it will give her the ultimate power to rule over Xenitha.
