427 pages plus index (complete). An amiably aging copy. Half-leather, marbled boards, plain end-papers. Stamped gilt borders, decoration and titling (benign). The leathered corners have much wear and scuffing. The spine too has wear to the seams and head and foot. The spine's aspect is agreeably antiquated. The boards are scuffed, marked, wear from handling and shelving. They are sturdy and steady. Within, the early pages and the folded map are mottled with foxing. The contents also have some flushes, speckles of foxing. They bear their age well.
