Inhaltsangabe:

A simple mindset tweak will change your life.

It started with a midnight insight. After a fifteen-year nightmare of coping with his struggling business, Sam Carpenter discovered and then developed a simple methodology that quickly knocked his routine 80-hour workweek down to near zero while multiplying his net income by a factor of 100. Now, in 2025, here's his bestselling business book, updated yet again, showing how you, too--no matter your business or profession--can quickly break free to build the life you've always imagined.

In this fifth edition of Work the System, Carpenter reveals the profound insight and exact uncomplicated, mechanical steps he took to turn his business--and life--around. Once you "get" this new vision, success and serenity will come quickly. You will learn to:

  • Make a simple perception adjustment that will change your life forever.
  • See your world as a logical collection of linear systems you can control.
  • Manage the systems that produce results in your business and your life.
  • Stop fire killing and become a fire-control specialist.
  • Maximize profit and create passionate client loyalty.
  • Develop enthusiastic long-term employees.
  • Identify and prevent insidious "errors of omissions."
  • Maximize your biological and mechanical "prime time" so you are working at optimum efficiency.
  • Design the life you want--and then create it in the real world!

You can keep doing what you've always done and continue getting disappointing results. Or you can create the peace and freedom you've always wanted by transforming your business into a finely tuned machine.

Zustand: Gut. Zustand: Gut | Sprache: Chinesisch | Produktart: Bücher | Work The System: The Simple Mechanics of Making More and Working Less guides the reader in modifying his or her fundamental perception of the world, moving from an inaccurate vision of barely controlled chaos, to a more accurate one: that life is an orderly collection of individual linear systems each of which can be improved and perfected one at a time. The reader is guided through the process of ''getting'' this new vision, and then through the specifics of applying it via Carpenter's "system improvement" methodology. For start-ups or multi-nationals, the methodology is simple, believable, and mechanical; not mystical or theoretical. Carpenter developed this "systems mindset" protocol in the business he purchased in 1984 and still owns today. With that company, he moved from an 80-100 hour workweek to a 2 hour workweek, while multiplying his income dozens of times over. He is CEO of an international business consulting firm, and several other spin-off businesses, as well as an international non-profit, all of which are operated in the same systems mindset fashion. With a diverse background in engineering, construction management, publishing, telecommunications and journalism, he calls his approach a "workingman's philosophy.". Artikel-Nr. 24798090/3

Paperback. Zustand: Very Good. Focusing on the workplace but applicable to all aspects of life, this is a hands-on guide that will help readers streamline the interlaced systems that drive every aspect of an organisation. The book will show business leaders and professionals how to achieve a positive macro result by looking at their businesses and work on a micro level - by analysing and refining each of the systems that are already in place. Readers will learn how to tweak this network of systems to maximize profits, create client loyalty, and develop autonomous employees. The strategies will also help individuals improve their performance and decrease the stress of being overtaxed or disorganised. Sam Carpenter teaches readers how to: maximize their productivity when they know they are at their peak brain capacity; avoid the time-wasting imperfection of perfection; and, work less and make more. Drawing from his years of experience as the owner of a struggling business that now successfully runs itself, Carpenter offers insightful and authoritative advice that fledgling entrepreneurs, seasoned businesspeople, and frontline employees will find helpful and practical. The book has been read, but is in excellent condition. Pages are intact and not marred by notes or highlighting. The spine remains undamaged. Artikel-Nr. GOR005521533
