Über die Autorinnen und Autoren: Ellen grew up in Cambridge and spent her childhood making up games, putting on plays, and writing a magazine for all the children living in her street. After studying English Literature she worked as a children's book editor for a few years before moving into the charity sector. Ellen is the author of a variety of bestselling activity books and annuals, including All About Me, All About Us and The Book of Me.

Sophie Beer is a freelance illustrator and writer. She studied law at university but found that unutterably dull and now works primarily in children's and editorial illustration. She is perpetually astounded that she has somehow hoodwinked people into paying her money to draw all day long. When she's not illustrating and writing, she thinks a lot about plants, animals, music and books.

Lauren Farnsworth lives on the Essex coast and has worked in publishing for over 15 years, after graduating from Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design.

Lauren is an Editorial Director and illustrator at Buster Books in Clapham. She has worked on a variety of highly successful books, including the Colourtronic series, which has been published in 13 languages and has sold over 67,800 copies in the UK.
