Captain Michael J. Lockwood is a commercial airline pilot for United Parcel Services of America (UPS). He has been flying for UPS for almost fourteen years since serving his country in the first Gulf War and Somalia. He graduated from the U.S. Air Force Academy with a bachelor’s of science degree. He then went on to be a distinguished graduate from Air Force Pilot Training. Lockwood was born in Port Arthur, Texas, the eldest of three children. He grew up in a small town where he fell in love with being outdoors, fishing, eating seafood, and working in his grandfather’s automotive repair shop. It was his grandfather who instilled in him a no-nonsense work ethic. His two hardworking parents reinforced the message that a real man should always work and provide for his family. Lockwood is by no means one dimensional when it comes to work; he’s a pilot, a commercial real estate developer, philanthropist, and now author of Women Have All The Power...Too Bad They Don’t Know It. When not working, Lockwood's favorite pastimes are snowboarding, playing tennis, golf, and board games with his wife and daughters. Michael is a God-fearing man who is a loving husband, father and son.
