WIZZY is a fledgling owl who was born in the rainforest and by a quirk of fate ends up in London. During his travels he witnesses the problems caused by mankind and WONDERS WHY more isn`t being done to resolve these problems. The story is perfectly balanced by the naivety of the illustrations to provide a light-hearted insight to a target audience of 8 to 12-year-olds. The story is both light-hearted and stimulating, showing a world of contrasts, ranging from the adversity suffered by the indigenous dwellers of the rainforest, to the opulence and corruption of the Westerner. The story tells of Wizzy’s adventures in trying to track down those responsible for the loss of his parents, and his encounters with the treacherous Robin Dastard, who will stop at nothing to get his own way. The first book is entitled WIZZY WONDERS WHY. It is just the beginning, setting the scene for future books in a series in which Wizzy will tackle and introduce young inquiring minds to topical environmental issues such as: •Climate change.•Climate Change•Endangered species.•Natural Medicine •Pollution.•Recycling.•Sustainability.
