Camp Fusion has one rule: Don’t cross the river. Too bad no one knows about the portal…

Before they kick off their senior year of high school, Whitnee and her best friends, Morgan and Caleb, return to their favorite childhood camp—this time as mentors to troubled preteens like they once were. Faced with a bratty camper, Caleb’s sudden jealousy, and eerie visions across the river that only she can see, Whitnee’s summer is anything but normal.

But that’s only the beginning. The choice to break one rule ends up transporting them to a hidden world full of danger and adventure, sparking an unexpected romance that flips Whitnee’s reality upside down. And when secrets about her family start to swirl, Whitnee must decide: find a way back to the life she knows or risk everything for the truth.

In the Phantom Island series, a portal opens between the summer camp you always loved and the magical island you only dreamed of finding. On this epic adventure, you’ll navigate a friends-to-love romance that challenges the pull of insta-fated-love, all while tangled up in elemental powers, ancient prophecies, magical creatures, and fantastical travels. Appropriate for ages 12 and up with no explicit language, graphic violence, or onscreen intimate scenes.

"Krissi Dallas has her finger on the pulse of what makes teenagers love stories. WINDCHASER feels so addictive because each character evokes strong emotion in the reader. Pair that with some awesome worldbuilding and the perfect amount of high stakes vs. character reflection, a supportive best friend (shoutout, Morgan!), plus a love triangle with two equally worthy guys, and I am hooked! This is a GREAT series to recommend for any reader (10 and up) who loves action, adventure, and romance."
-Jill Cox, Author of The Bridge series

"The imagery is vivid and the world Dallas has built is absolutely lush. For people looking for high fantasy mixed with teen angst and a lot of secrets, check out this book. I highly recommend."
-Amber Vilate, Young Adult Literature Review

"Phantom Island was extremely well-written... There are only a few other novels where I wanted to actually be in their world. I was captured from the very first page."
