Why do you lose at poker? Before you answer that question, think about this. There is no magic key that unlocks the door to poker. You might be able to pinpoint a leak or two in your game, but you may be surprised to find that there are many more lurking under the surface. This book shows you the sixteen most common errors in poker, and how to avoid them. You will learn the keys to finding the leaks in your game and plugging them for good. Stepping away from the table and watching others play incorrectly is the best path to understanding your own mistakes. You'll learn why these errors are so bad, and why they cost you money over and over. Recognizing these errors in your own game can be painful, but the rewards of revealing them are well worth it. If you're ready to admit that you'd like to lose less and win more, then you need this book!

Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor
Russell Fox began playing poker while in college at Berkeley but did not begin to take the game seriously until 1999. Then, while living in Seattle with free time, he began to play in the local cardrooms and tournaments. Almost immediately he became a winning player, and he has not had a losing year to date. He has had numerous final table appearances, including winning the 2001 BARGE no-limit hold'em championship. You can usually find Russ playing no-limit hold'em in one of the Southern California cardrooms. Away from the tables, Russ is an Enrolled Agent (a Federally licensed tax preparer) and the principal of his own consulting and tax practice, Clayton Financial and Tax.
Scott T. Harker has also been playing poker since college, where poker became an outlet for his competitive juices. He began playing poker seriously to supplement his income while living in Las Vegas. Today Scott plays mainly online poker, in middle-limit and no-limit hold'em cash games, pot-limit Omaha and no-limit hold'em tournaments. Scott has been a successful winning cash game player since 1999. Scott is a partner in Clayton Financial and Tax.
