For Whom To Die. Dieser Artikel ist nicht verfügbar. For Whom To Die

The soundest of minds are ruled by the heart, and without love even the greatest minds wither and die before the bodies that host them. Yet, absent hate, there is no human contrast to give love its greatness. So, join me as I tell you of love and hate woven into a single story forged upon the hot crucible of war, where both love and hate reach a height and intensity not otherwise achievable. This will be a story unlike any you have ever read. It will charm, frighten, thrill, amuse, embolden and move you, and these are wonderful things to experience, for indeed it is these emotions, these stirrings of our hearts that we seek in a story, even more than we seek learning.Vietnam is only the center portion of the stage upon which my story of remarkable love plays out, of course. Love stories are eternal, and, if they’re good, then their venue, wherever, is but the worn, smooth wood of the stage floor upon which the characters dance and laugh, sigh and cry, love and fight, live and die. My story has passion and love for women readers, heroism and the dark adventure of war for men, and yet I’ll tell you of a heroic woman soldier and I’ll tell you of deeply loving men.I know all these people, you see, for I am the least of them.

William Slusher is the author of Shepherd Of The Wolves, and its sequel, Butcher of the Noble. He has also written Talon Force - Meltdown, as ‘Cliff Garnett.’ He is currently writing an irreverent and hilarious fictional send-up of both sides of the American political circus, to be entitled Cascade Chaos, Or How Not To Put Your Grizzly In The Statehouse, scheduled to be on bookshelves in late 2009. A Vietnam veteran and retired police/medevac pilot, Mr. Slusher now enjoys 5 horses, 3 dogs and 2 cats with his beloved wife, Dr. Linda Shields, on a ranch along the Okanogan River in North Central Washington. Mr. Slusher deeply appreciates the investment of your hard-earned money and priceless time in his novel. He hopes it earns both.
