Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor: David G. Spielman is a well-known photographer and writer who has lived and worked in New Orleans since the 1970s. His long and successful career has included photograph shoots on six of the seven continents. Two recent projects of major significance include a collection of southern authors photographed in their workspaces and a collection of photographs of Hurricane Katrina and its aftermath. Spielman continues to make New Orleans home.
