Michael Barton wrote several volumes under the pen name of Michael X. Barton and he was one of the most essential contactees following the Adamski tradition. Barton, who gained fame for his New Age works, wrote many papers in the metaphysical and inspirational genres starting in 1949. His readable writings provide a wealth of New Age information and guidance for thousands of people from all walks of life seek out in their pursuit of higher Truth and Wisdom. Higher powers significantly and favorably accelerated Michael's personal growth in 1940 after briefly encountering a white-garbed Master from the upper realms of existence. Michael discovered that when he was praying, he could communicate telepathically with more evolved souls who claimed to be inhabiting a higher, more evolved vibratory plane of Venus than can be identified via scientific means. In the mid-1950s, Michael Barton took a pilgrimage to Giant Rock. Inspired by George Van Tassel’s apparent ability to channel ETs, Barton embraced the notion that the universe is composed of “mind stuff” that can transmit thought vibrations. On the historic night of May 22nd, 1955—his gaze fixed determinedly on Venus—Barton projected a “vibratory beam of light” and, using what he called “space telepathy”. Based on his “closed contact” with aliens, he wrote: Secrets of Higher Contact in (1959). Saucerian Publisher is proud to publish one of the 1960s West Coast saucering classics.
