Saundra Jain, MA, PsyD, LPC, is a seasoned psychotherapist, educator, WebMD Blogger, and strong supporter of living a life based on wellness practices. Years of clinical practice and dealing with life’s ups and downs have convinced her that wellness practices of exercise, mindfulness meditation, optimized sleep, social connectedness, and a nutritious diet are all essential wellness elements. She is the co-creator of the WILD 5 Wellness Program. Rakesh Jain, MD, MPH, is an experienced psychiatrist, researcher, and educator who firmly believes that life is much more than not having symptoms of mental illness. He believes that the attainment of mental wellness is our ultimate goal. Years of experience have taught him that mental wellness is a highly learnable skill and can be strengthened with practice. According to Dr. Jain, the purpose of the WILD 5 Wellness Program is to help people deal with life’s daily stresses and to flourish. He is the co-creator of the WILD 5 Wellness Program. Betsy Burns, PhD, is a clinical psychologist who has a personal and professional interest in wellness. For most of her career, she has worked with acutely ill, hospitalized psychiatric patients. In the last several years, her focus has broadened to include working with people who are interested in learning how to increase their overall sense of well-being.
