Hardcover. Zustand: Good+. First Edition. Volume 1: ccxxxi + 259 pages. Volume 2: pages 261-681 plus 16 pages of advertisements. Pages are in very good condition; clean and bright with slightly yellowed edges. Illustrated frontispieces, facsimiles, charts and maps. In volume 2, facsimile of Foxe's Chart to be facing page 261 is missing. Hinges are a little loose, but bindings intact. Blue cloth stamped in blind decoration on both covers. Gilt titles on the spines and gilt illustration on the upper covers. Spines and edges darkened. Small tears on the spine edges and head/tail. Small ink mark on the spines.Corners bumped and frayed.
