xvi + 518 pages, 2 coloured folding maps, all edges gilt, new endpapers, previous owner's stamp at the top of the half-title page, small slight stain on the lower corner of the half-title page, a few trifling marks on the covers, slight wear to the edges, faint water stain affecting the lower corner of the rear cover (approx. 1 cm. in width, 12 cm. vertically and 6 cm. horizontally) and the gilt fore-edges (approx. 1.5 cm. wide and 16 cm. vertically) although the latter only becomes visible (but noticeably so) when the fore-edge is fanned or viewed at an angle, internally minimally affecting only about a dozen leaves, some foxing but mostly internally very clean.
