Sunset McGuire was a man of peace. During his time scouting for the army, he always looked for a peaceful resolution with the Apache the army considered the enemy. The first time Major Innis's daughter Heather saw him, she fell in love. It was two long years before they were married and moved to the ranch, but now she and their son were dead, and Sonny swore over their bodies that he would get the men who did it. For Sonny, reading the tracks of men was easy, and he and his brother Moon set out to fulfill his promise. The men were not only devious be the found out they were being followed and led Sonny and Moon on a long and tiring chase across places that were not fit for a man to live and several times they came close to failure and even death.

I was born in Canada but spend much of my time roaming the Sonora Desert of Arizona, which is truly a place to inspire a writer. I write in the Western genre inspired by the great Western writer Louis L'Amour. My stories are fiction with a mixture of real history and I hope you enjoy reading them.
