This work - based on a study of 1100 companies worldwide - aims to show executives and managers how to achive "value-building growth", that is, how to create levels of long term success above and beyond what conventional, complacent, or bottom-line orientated companies generate, and far beyond the returns of companies that grow merely for growth's sake. This book aims to explain the nature and importance of growth, and also to instruct companies on how best to achieve value-building growth. The authors' findings reveal that value-building growth in no accident, but a conscious, constant process.
