Featuring a studio scene showcasing photographs of van Gogh’s work, this delightful story introduces the youngest children to these famous works and encourages them to look at the world through an artist’s eyes.

Grace Helmer is a Brighton-born, London-based illustrator.

She uses strong brush strokes to create her rich, ethereal oil illustrations. The expressive colour progressions in her paintings give the work a delicate, transient presence.

Grace graduated from the Camberwell College of Art in 2012 and is part of the illustration studio collective Day Job.

Some of her clients include: Apple, Google, HarvardX, The Washington Post, Vogue (US), Marie Claire (France), Octopus Books, and The Independent (UK).
