The definition of the word “whole” is to be complete or full : not lacking or leaving out any part. That is what takes place when we are made unbroken, we are mended by Jesus Christ. He fills the gaps and heals the broken pieces of our lives. He takes an impossible situation, one with a million pieces and restores it back to one piece. He doesn’t just restore it back to its natural condition but transforms it into something better than before. Only God can truly restore.
Throughout this book Jeremy will unpack the reasons his life became broken, even when he attempted to paint the pretty picture. He will tell you the journey of how God restored Jeremy back to Him and how He helped him rediscover his purpose in this world.
Throughout this book the author will share some biblical truths that will give you hope and bring you out of the depths of your circumstances into the loving arms of Jesus, right where you belong.
This book is for the broken people in the world, which includes all of us. Whether you have been broken by tragedy, divorce, loss, bad relationships or even by disappointment, this book is for you. What unfolds in the pages of this book is a testimony that God can heal the most broken pieces of your life. The things that have been burned in the chapters of your soul, can be resurrected, just as Jesus Himself was resurrected and conquered the grave. God can take what was broken and make it unbroken.
Through the power of Jesus, you can come back from certain defeat, even when the world tells you it’s inconceivable. Through His everlasting grace, restoration will not just be a pipe dream or a lofty ideal, but a vivid reality. Through His love, pure joy can be renewed or maybe even discovered for the first time. Through His mercy, hope will shine through even the darkest corridors of your life. Let the words of this book wash over your soul as encouragement and as a stark reminder that nothing is too difficult for our God to handle and no one is ever too lost to be rescued.
Praise for Unbroken
"Jeremy has given us a raw and open look at his life and family, both good and bad. His honesty allows all of us to vicariously assess the strength of our own commitment to our families and to see possible warning signs ahead. It also gives us a great portrait of Gods grace in real life, and the hope that He truly can redeem even our biggest failures."
- Brett Rickey, Pastor of Highland Park Church, Author of Boomerang and Chasing Cool
"His story is as real as it is relatable, and he shares it without pretense alongside the wisdom he’s gained along the way. Any leader will benefit from Unbroken, but especially those who live under the spotlight of ministry.”

Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor
Jeremy Johnson’s passion became evident at the early age of two when he stood behind a ceramic owl statue and pretended to preach in his relatives’ living room. At nine, he accepted Christ as his personal Savior and by 17 sought out opportunities to lead worship and speak in various services throughout the southeast, where he was raised. To this day, his creativity encourages people who are far from the truth to learn about and know God‘s grace is sufficient for them. He develops leaders by inspiring them to pursue their callings and has a deep desire to see and be involved with successful church planting. His personal ministry started in 2000 when he served as pastor of students – seeing a growth in weekly attendance from 12 to 75 students. In 2001, he established his own evangelical organization, J2 Ministries traveling throughout the country impacting thousands for Christ. 2007 was the year God directed Jeremy Johnson to invest in community and build relationships starting as an Associate Pastor at the local church level and then as Founder and Lead Pastor for a new church plant in Orlando, Florida. Similar to the preaching he did at two, Element church’s humble beginnings were in a living room, but grew from six dedicated believers to a congregation of 140 regular worshipers in the span of a year. Father of two beautiful children, Jada and Skyler. Jeremy’s world was turned upside down when his wife of 13 years left him in late 2012 and four months later filed for divorce. Though there was no moral failure involved, Jeremy was confronted with the reality of his focus and readily harnessed the blame for his failed marriage. Through God’s miraculous grace and mercy the months following became a time of incredible spiritual growth. Jeremy garnered the support of a new community including two counselors proficient in the process of healing pastors, a team of 80+ prayer warriors and six men who are his personal board of Directors that have kept him accountable and encouraged. Jeremy’s book, "Unbroken"- Discovering Wholeness through the Shattered Pieces of Life", which is based on his journey of restoration, is his first book. His passion to be the leader God has created him to be continues through the healing of scars and the connecting with those who are far from God on a deep level. The scripture that has been his anchor of hope is Galatians 6:9. Let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due time the harvest will come – if we refuse to give up.
