Clifford J Bailey is Head of Diabetes Research at Aston University, UK. Has has served as Secretary of the medical and scientific section of Diabetes UK (formerly the British Diabetic Association), held editorial positions with several journals, and is presently editor of The British Journal of Diabetes and Vascular Disease. He has acted as an expert witness to drug licensing authorities. His research involves mainly the development of new antidiabetic therapies.
