Printed handbill, 6 x 4 ½ inches, the first quatrain: "Kind friends, we ve met in friendship sweet, /So sound the glad refrain, / With loving kindness here we greet / The people of Fort Payne," and the closing "In the city of Fort Payne, my friends, / In the city of Fort Payne, / May peace and prosperity and love, / Reign ever in Fort Payne."
