What seems to have gone unnoticed about Indian literary thought is its aggressiveness. We are used to the calmer, non-aggressive, nature of Indian philosophy and thought. There is, however, another side to Indian critical and literary mind. This has emerged in the writing of Indian criticism and literary theory.
